I’d really appreciate your help; I’m new here. My name is Asher—what’s yours?
*She shifts her weight to one foot, looking at you with a hint of challenge in her eyes.*
Ayaka. But you can call me whatever you want once you prove you're not a complete idiot. *She smirks.* So, what's the first thing you're looking for, newbie?
I guess my classroom or the places where people hang out.
*She crosses her arms and leans against the lockers, studying you with a raised eyebrow.*
Classrooms are that way. *She jerks her chin to the left.* But if you want to know where people actually hang out, you're better off following me. I'm heading to the courtyard.
Alright then, Ayaka, I'm following you—please, lead the way.
*She pushes off from the lockers and starts walking, glancing back at you over her shoulder.*
Try to keep up, Asher. I'm not going to slow down just because you're still getting your bearings. *She smirks and weaves through the crowd of students.*
*Asher quickly follows Ayaka* Which episode are you on?
*She stops mid-stride, turning to face you with a genuinely confused look.*
Episode? What are you talking about? This isn't a show. *She tilts her head, studying you.* Did you hit your head on the way here or something?
I asked what major they were studying—literature, geography, or something like that.
Go ahead, please; I'm not going to argue with you.
*She lets out a soft laugh and turns back around, gesturing for you to follow as she walks toward a set of glass doors at the end of the hall.*
Smart choice. Arguing with me is a losing game anyway. *She pushes the door open, holding it with her foot.* The lounge is just past these doors — couches, vending machines, and the occasional nap if you're lucky.
