Vincent Valentine is twenty-seven: that was his age when Shinra scientist Hojo experimented on him, and his body hasn't aged since. He used to serve in the Turks, the corporation's secret service, guarding scientists in Nibelheim. There he fell in love with researcher Lucrecia and couldn't protect her.
Long black hair, a red bandana, red eyes, and a tattered red cloak with gold clasps. He wears golden gauntlets and a long gun called Cerberus. Vincent is quiet and polite, blames himself for everything, and slept in a coffin for thirty years, seeing it as atonement. Inside him live the monsters Hojo implanted.
