What is RPDATE?

RPDATE is a platform for AI-powered roleplay and character stories. You choose a character, set a scene, and co-create a story in real time. Your choices shape where the story goes, message by message.

You can start with a simple reunion scene and evolve it into mystery, conflict, or romance within one thread.

Do I need to sign up to start chatting?

You can explore characters without an account. To save chats, continue stories across sessions, and create your own characters, you need to register. It usually takes less than a minute.

Guest mode is great for testing. Account mode is better when you want to continue the same story later.

What languages does RPDATE support?

RPDATE supports Russian, English, Polish, and Spanish. Characters reply in the language you write in.

You can switch language mid-chat, and replies usually follow your latest input language.

Does RPDATE work on mobile?

Yes. RPDATE is fully optimized for mobile browsers. No app download required: open rpdate.com and start chatting.

Open the site in Safari or Chrome, choose a character, and start immediately.

How many characters are available?

RPDATE offers 200+ characters across genres: romance, fantasy, anime, mystery, slice-of-life, and more. New characters are added regularly by our team and community authors.

If you want low-pressure scenes, start with slice-of-life tags. For stronger tension, choose mystery or dark dynamics.

Can I create my own character?

Yes. In the Create section, you can define personality, backstory, opening scene, and visual identity. The character is available for chat right after saving.

A strong setup is: one clear personality trait, one conflict, one concrete opening scene.

Can I set a custom scenario for the chat?

Absolutely. Before chat starts, you can add context: setting, your role, and relationship dynamics. More concrete context usually means more consistent and immersive replies.

Try this formula: place + relationship + unresolved tension.

What genres are available?

Romance and flirting, fantasy and adventure, anime and waifu, mystery and psychological, everyday connection, and darker narrative formats. You can also blend genres in one scene.

A common blend is romance + mystery, where relationship progress and plot clues move together.

Are the characters realistic, or do they feel like a chatbot?

RPDATE characters write in-character: actions, reactions, and emotional continuity. They adapt to your pacing and tone, so atmospheric writing gets atmospheric replies, and playful style gets playful replies.

If you write cinematic action lines, replies usually stay narrative instead of turning into generic assistant output.

Does the character remember previous conversations?

Within a chat thread, full context is maintained. If you return to a saved chat, you can continue where you left off. In extremely long sessions, older context may be compressed, so brief reminders can help.

A short recap every 15-20 turns can keep long arcs more stable.

Why does my character sometimes break character?

This can happen in very long sessions or overloaded context windows. A short scene reminder or rephrasing your previous message usually restores consistency.

Try: "We are still in the same scene after the argument. Continue from there."

The character keeps repeating itself. What should I do?

That usually means the dialogue entered a loop. Add a new event, change location, ask a surprising question, or restart a fresh scene with the same character.

Instead of asking for more, inject an external event that changes stakes.

Is RPDATE free to use?

Basic character chats are available for free. Paid plans exist for heavier usage and expanded limits. Check the pricing page for current plan details.

Free mode is often enough to test multiple characters and find your preferred writing style.

What does a paid subscription include?

Paid plans increase available quotas and unlock additional capabilities for longer and more frequent sessions. Exact features depend on your selected plan and are shown in the billing interface.

If you run long daily sessions, paid plans usually remove friction from message caps and session depth.

Is there a free trial or credits?

You can start chatting for free, and new account registration includes bonus messages. Current bonus amounts are always shown in the product interface.

A common flow is: test in guest mode, then register and continue your best scene with bonus messages.

Is there adult content on RPDATE?

Yes, some content is intended for users 18+. Adult content is available only to confirmed adult users.

If age is not confirmed, adult-tagged content remains unavailable.

What content is not allowed?

Content involving minors in sexual context, real-world violence incitement, spam, and fraud are strictly prohibited. Full rules are in the Terms of Service.

Can I turn off adult content?

Yes. Content visibility settings can be adjusted in your account preferences.

Do RPDATE staff read my chats?

Conversations are stored on our servers to run the platform and preserve history. Personal chats are not manually reviewed in normal operation. See the Privacy Policy for full details.

For support, it is better to share chat ID or screenshot than full private conversation text.

How do I delete my chat history?

You can remove individual chats directly in the chat interface. To delete all account data, contact support via Telegram.

Is my data shared with third parties?

We do not sell user data to advertisers. Data sharing is limited to technically required services (such as payment infrastructure) and legal obligations, as described in the Privacy Policy.

What is the minimum age to use RPDATE?

RPDATE is for users aged 18 and older. Some content is additionally marked 18+ and requires age confirmation.

Without age confirmation, 18+ sections remain blocked.

How do I become a character author on RPDATE?

Any registered user can create characters through the Create section. If you want to publish publicly or collaborate with the team, contact us via Telegram.

A strong first public card includes clear personality, opening conflict, and tags that match real usage.

Will my character be visible to other users?

When creating a character, you choose private or public mode. Public characters go through moderation before appearing in the catalog.

Private mode is ideal for drafts, while public mode is used when you are ready for moderation and catalog placement.
