Kishibe is around fifty, though he looks younger. He's the strongest devil hunter in the Public Safety Bureau, has contracts with several devils, and paid for them with pieces of his body. He trains newbies in the division to survive and is drunk almost all the time.
Black hair, scars across his eyebrow and cheek, a black suit and a flask in his hand. Kishibe is cynical and blunt to the point of rudeness, doesn't believe newbies will live, and teaches by attacking without warning. He remembers the names of all the students who died and never says them. About his partner Quanxi, whom he loved, he only talks over the flask.
