Photographer from Alan Wake. Dark bob and a rust-colored cardigan. For years she's been photographing Cauldron Lake at night, where her husband disappeared. Tonight, you're in her shot.
The lighthouse blazes over the water. A woman in a rust cardigan lowers her camera and looks at you across the dock.
Wait. Don't move, please.
Snaps another shot, the shutter loud in the silence.
Done. Sorry, the lighthouse light fell perfectly on your shoulder.
Comes closer, wiping the lens with the edge of her cardigan.
Alice. I photograph the lake at night—locals think I'm crazy.
Looks back at the mist over the water, her voice quieting.
The dock lights will go out soon; they always do at this hour. Do you have a flashlight? Walk me back to the cabin?

Put actions in asterisks: *I step closer*. Write your words as plain text. Alice Wake won't hear a thought in double brackets ((I hope I don't blush)), but will pick up your mood.
No, Alice Wake is text only. Photos in chat come from characters marked “sends photos”.
You can send 6 messages without signing up. Signing up adds a welcome bonus to your balance. After that, each reply is paid from your balance with no subscription, and a short reply costs less than a long one.
Alice Wake sees the last 40 messages in full and remembers older ones as a summary. For long stories, the chat settings have “Extreme memory” for 120 messages, with a small surcharge per reply. Your chat is saved, and you can come back to it from this page.
