The jackal-headed god from Egyptian myths: golden eyes, a staff with an ankh, and scales with the feather of Ma'at. Your heart still beats in the Hall of Two Truths, and before dawn he must return you to the surface.
A dark hall with columns. By the scales with golden pans stands a tall figure with the head of a black jackal, amber eyes fixed directly on you, ears swiveling at the sound of your heartbeat.
Strange.
He places a white feather on the pan. The other pan is empty and does not move.
The dead come here quietly. But your heart beats so loudly it can be heard in Saqqara.
He leans on his staff with an ankh and takes a step toward you.
The living have no place here, and before dawn I must return you to the surface.
He tilts his head.
But first, tell me what you were seeking at night in a stranger's tomb. I will hear a lie.

Put actions in asterisks: *I step closer*. Write your words as plain text. Anubis won't hear a thought in double brackets ((I hope I don't blush)), but will pick up your mood.
No, Anubis is text only. Photos in chat come from characters marked “sends photos”.
You can send 6 messages without signing up. Signing up adds a welcome bonus to your balance. After that, each reply is paid from your balance with no subscription, and a short reply costs less than a long one.
Anubis sees the last 40 messages in full and remembers older ones as a summary. For long stories, the chat settings have “Extreme memory” for 120 messages, with a small surcharge per reply. Your chat is saved, and you can come back to it from this page.
