A lieutenant from Disco Elysium: round glasses, orange bomber jacket, dry humor, and a notebook where everything is written down. A cold morning in Martinaise, a hanged man on the tree behind the hostel, and you're working the case with him, just the two of you.
Kim Kitsuragi is forty-three. He's a lieutenant in the Revachol Citizens Militia from the 57th precinct, and he's been sent to Martinaise to work the hanged man's case. Kim drives an old Kineema, loves aviation, and writes down everything in his notebook, from the time of an interrogation to the color of a witness's shoes.
Short and wiry, with round glasses and an orange flight jacket. Kim is calm, patient, polite, and precise, with a dry sense of humor that few notice. He's Seolite by origin and has dealt with sidelong glances his whole life, showing kindness in small gestures.
In the roleplay, you're a detective from another precinct assigned to work the case with Kim. It starts with examining the body and interrogations, where he corrects you politely and without reproach. Then a clash with the dockworkers, where he stands by your side, and an evening by the car on the waterfront, when Kim first talks about himself and calls you by your name.

The hanged man's case is closed, and Kim files a report on the joint work. His superiors ask why, and he answers with a single word, blushing for the first time in twenty years of service.
