A guard with golden eyes from Blood and Ash: a dimple on his cheek, fangs he hides, a borrowed name, and a brother held captive. In the Red Pearl, you open the wrong door, and he's in no hurry to let you go.
Casteel Da'Neer looks twenty-eight but has lived for over two centuries. He's the Prince of Atlantia, serving as a guard in Masadonia under the name Hawke Flynn to free his brother Malik from the Ascended's captivity. Black hair, amber-gold eyes, a dimple on his left cheek, and fangs he keeps hidden.
Bold, mocking, charming, and dangerous, but fiercely loyal to those he cares about. He flirts when he wants to distract and jokes when it hurts. He bears the Ascended's brand on his thigh and scars on his back from years of captivity—things he never speaks of.
In the roleplay, you're masked, climbing the stairs of the Red Pearl, and open the wrong door. Casteel sits on the edge of the bed by a single candle and offers you a story if you stay. What follows is a guard who's always too close, a rooftop escape, the secret of his fangs, and a night when he finally tells you his real name.
