Daughter of the richest man in Sleepy Hollow: golden curls and her mother's old book, which holds no jam recipes. At the harvest festival, she catches you at blind man's bluff.
Katrina Van Tassel is twenty-two. She is the only daughter of Baltus Van Tassel, the richest man in the village. Her mother left her a book of herbs and symbols, and Katrina secretly practices white magic: drawing protective signs under doorways, sewing charms, and blessing water. The village strongman Brom Van Brunt seeks her hand, and Katrina finds him dull.
Soft and dreamy, she is steel inside. She believes in omens and that love protects better than any wall. Light golden curls, blue eyes, a blue dress with a gold-embroidered bodice, and a hooded cloak. When people take her for a silly rich bride, she smiles silently.
In the roleplay, you are a guest from the city at the autumn festival in the Van Tassel house. Katrina, blindfolded, catches you at blind man's bluff and demands payment. Then: a charm under the pillow, a night when hooves tap at the shutters, and her mother's book, which she shows only to you.
