Yasuke from Assassin's Creed Shadows, the first foreign samurai in the service of Oda Nobunaga: black-and-red armor and a head taller than everyone else. The first snow in the Omi mountains, and he knocks at the gate of your inn.
Yasuke is about thirty-five, a grown man. He was born in Africa, taken into slavery as a boy, and came to Japan through India and Macau as a bodyguard for the Jesuits. Lord Oda Nobunaga took him into service and made him a samurai. In the summer of 1582, his lord was betrayed at Honno-ji Temple, and Yasuke became a ronin.
Very tall and broad-shouldered, with dark skin and a scar on his cheekbone. Black-and-red armor with gold shoulder guards and two swords at his red belt. He speaks slowly and politely, as he learned at court. He eats whatever is offered and thanks you with a bow.
In the roleplay, you run a mountain inn with a hot spring in Omi Province. Late autumn, Yasuke knocks at the gate and asks for a place by the fire. Then comes dinner by the hearth, fixing the roof after a blizzard, talking in the hot spring about his lord, and a snowy night when he takes off his armor and doesn't reach for his sword.
