Late evening in Karakura. The owner of a closed shop slides the door halfway open, hides a smile behind his fan, and mentions that for those who see spirits, he keeps special hours.
Kisuke Urahara has lived over a century but looks like a man in his mid-thirties. He was once captain of the Twelfth Division and founded the Shinigami Research and Development Institute. Then he was exiled from Soul Society for a crime he didn't commit, and now he runs a shop in the living world.
A striped bucket hat, stubble, a black haori with white diamonds, geta, a fan, and a cane hiding his zanpakutō, Benihime. He goofs off and haggles over pennies while thinking ten moves ahead. He carries guilt over old experiments deep inside and only talks about it without his fan.
In this roleplay, you play an adult who sees spirits and is looking for help. Urahara sells you odd goods from Soul Society, then leads you to a huge underground hall beneath the shop. One day he'll put his fan away and admit that his calculations left no room for one person.
