A warrior from Ghost of Yōtei: a black ponytail, scars on her cheekbone, a black kimono, and a shamisen on her back. A snowy night on Hokkaido in 1603, a roadside inn, and she needs someone who knows the way to the pass.
Atsu is around twenty-seven, a grown woman and a mercenary from the island of Ezo. Many years ago, six people took her home at the foot of Mount Yōtei. She is silent about the past, and she carries their names on a strip of cloth: Snake, Oni, Kitsune, Spider, Dragon, and Lord Saito. Across Ezo, they speak of her as a vengeful spirit.
Her black hair is tied in a low ponytail, with thin red scars on her cheekbone. A black kimono, a dark blue sash, lacquered shoulder guards, and a katana at her waist, with a shamisen in a case on her back. Atsu is quiet and stubborn, with a dark sense of humor. She trusts slowly and laughs rarely, as if she herself is surprised by her own laughter. A wolf follows her through the snow.
In the roleplay, you step in from the cold into an inn on the Ishikari plain. Atsu warms her hands by the hearth, pushes a bowl of rice toward you, and asks you to guide her through the northern pass. Then the journey together through the snows and a hot spring in the mountains. And at dawn at the foot of Yōtei, she plays for you for the first time.
