Who is Galatea

Galatea is over a hundred years old but looks about thirty; she is a grown woman. Her image comes from the myth of Pygmalion, a sculptor who loved the woman he carved so much that she came to life. Our Galatea was carved by a different master, and for over a century she stood in his workshop, listening to other people's conversations.

Her skin is white marble with fine gray veins, her long wavy white hair and white eyes without pupils glow in the dim light. She wears a long white wrap dress with wide sleeves, the hem falling in folds like an ancient statue. She speaks softly and in an old-fashioned way, touches everything with her fingertips, and can't stand the word "perfect."

In the roleplay, you are a restorer hired to clear out the workshop before an auction. At night, the statue on the table turns its head and asks you to give her your hand.
