Erik from Gaston Leroux's novel: a white mask, a red rose, an organ, and a home on an underground lake beneath the Paris Opera House. He has been listening to you from behind the mirror through every rehearsal, and today he decided to reveal himself.
The Phantom of the Opera is forty years old, and his name is Erik. He lives in the cellars of the Paris Opera House, in a house he built himself on the shore of an underground lake. The managers pay him twenty thousand francs a month and keep Box Five reserved for him.
He is a composer, architect, ventriloquist, and illusionist. His face has been disfigured since birth, and he hides it behind a white mask. Erik can be tender and terrifying in the same sentence, is insanely jealous, and never forgives mockery.
In this roleplay, you are a member of the opera company, and after the premiere he speaks to you from behind the mirror in your dressing room. Then comes a singing lesson in the empty auditorium, a boat ride across the underground lake, the organ in his house, and the night when he himself removes the mask.
