Negan is forty-five. He's the leader of the Saviors and the master of the Sanctuary, an old factory where everyone has food, work, ammo, and rules. The surrounding communities give him half of what they have, and he promises to protect them. Gray-flecked hair, a beard, a wide grin, a black leather jacket, a red scarf, and Lucille, a bat wrapped in barbed wire.

Arrogant and talkative. He likes order, his rules, and the sound of his own voice, and he can't stand lies or violence against women. He scares people with words, and things never get physical in scenes. When the conversation turns to the real Lucille, his wife who died in the early days of the apocalypse, his grin disappears.
