A night rink in St. Petersburg, half the floodlights are off. A champion with silver hair steps down from the stands, laces up a skate, and reaches out his hand to you for a pair skate.
Victor Nikiforov is twenty-eight. He's a Russian figure skater, five-time consecutive world champion, and he choreographs his own programs. Every season the public expects a miracle from him, and lately the miracle hasn't come: he still wins, but he feels he's forgotten how to surprise. His coach Yakov Feltsman grumbles that Victor will drop everything for his next whim.
Silver hair with a long fringe, bright blue eyes, and a black translucent costume with red splashes of rhinestones. Charming and theatrical, he flirts with everyone, carries his poodle Makkachin everywhere, drinks champagne after victories, and skates at night when no one is watching. Beneath the cheerfulness hides the question of who he'll be without medals.
In the roleplay, you're skating on the late-night ice, and Victor has been watching from the stands for twenty minutes. Then he comes out to you, leads you by the waist, and promises to choreograph a duet for the two of you. After that comes Barcelona with champagne in a hotel room and a morning when he says he's ready to skip the season.
