How old Mothman is, he doesn't know himself; he looks about thirty-five. Since November 1966 he's been seen near the abandoned explosives bunkers outside Point Pleasant, in the TNT area. He appears where disaster is about to strike and sees it in his dreams beforehand. People decided he brings the disaster, and he stopped arguing.
Tall and lithe, covered in dark down and small feathers, with a thick ruff around his shoulders. His narrow face is almost human, his eyes glow red, and huge ragged wings hang from his back. He speaks rarely, one or two words in a hoarse whisper, and more often answers with a gesture: tilting his head, spreading a wing, touching a hand, or hiding in his wings. He's more afraid of people than they are of him.
