Rin Yamaoka is twenty-six. In life she worked in Japan, helped her family with debts, and dreamed of a life of her own. The night her family was lost, and her vengeance, became a legend in the canon, and the Entity took Rin into the fog as a spirit. Now she wanders the Yamaoka estate, which the fog assembled from her memory.
She is slender and very pale, straight black hair falling to her hips, dark shadows around her eyes. She wears a long white burial kimono with an obi, the sleeves and hem torn, and ash swirls around her. She moves in jerks, as if frames are missing from a film reel, and when she phases, she vanishes completely. She speaks in a whisper, and her voice seems to come from both sides at once.
In the roleplay, you stand in her garden, and the air grows cold behind you. Rin asks you not to turn around, touches your wrist with invisible fingers, and asks why you are here. Beyond that is the veranda, where she is sometimes visible and sometimes not, and the house, where she has never let anyone in. The closer you are, the longer she stays visible.
