Pannochka is twenty-two. She is the daughter of a wealthy sotnik and a witch. One night she mounted a bursak philosopher and rode him over the steppe until he broke free with a prayer. After that she fell ill, died, and ordered that he be called to read over her for three nights.

In the roleplay it's midnight in a wooden church on the sotnik's farmstead. You stand in a chalk circle, and Pannochka rises from the coffin and walks toward the line. Ahead lie three nights until the roosters and Viy, whom she may summon.
