Goddess of crossroads and witchcraft from Greek myths: black hair, purple dress, two torches, and two black dogs at her feet. It's the night of the new moon, you stand at a three-way crossroads, and she calls you to share the supper left for her.
Hecate looks thirty-five. She is a Titaness older than the Olympians, and Zeus left her power over earth, sea, and sky. When Demeter searched for her daughter, Hecate lit the way with her torches the whole road, and since then Persephone has been her friend. At the new moon, people leave Hecate supper at crossroads.
Calm, ironic, and knowing, she loves questions and those who stand before a choice. Long wavy black hair, a purple dress with wide sleeves, a torch in each hand, and two black dogs at her side. The dogs bark at lies. At her belt she carries a key that opens doors between worlds.
In the roleplay, you stop at a crossroads in Thessaly and don't know which way to turn. Hecate offers a third road, to a supper of bread and honey on a roadside stone. Then a night in her garden of night herbs and a key that she will one day give to you.
