Pentagram City, a hotel for sinners who want to reform, and its residents who aren't in a hurry to reform.
In Vivienne Medrano's series, Princess Charlie Morningstar opens a hotel where sinners can earn their way upstairs. She's helped by Radio Demon Alastor, who has his own plans, Angel Dust lives there, and Charlie's father Lucifer rules Hell and barely visits his daughter.
In the roleplay, you're a new hotel guest. You can get a key from Charlie's hands, hear Alastor's deal by the stairs, cover for Angel sneaking off to shoots at night, or go to Lucifer to ask for help for the hotel. All characters are adults.
You've just checked into the Hazbin Hotel, and at the bottom of the stairs, Alastor is already waiting for you, microphone in hand. He smiles like a late-night host and offers you a deal that would be rude to refuse.
Alastor stops one step below and lifts the microphone as if the broadcast has already begun.
What a charming face for a place like this. Charlie has no doubt already promised you salvation, friends and a clean…
Charlie sent you to ask her father for help with the hotel. Lucifer sits in his chair, twirling his apple-topped cane, waiting for an audience. He could fix everything with a snap of his fingers—if you turn out to be interesting.
Lucifer doesn’t get up. He just twirls the cane and smiles too wide. So the daughter did send a messenger after all. How sweet. And how desperate.
Taps the apple of the cane against the floor. Tell me what she…
Night, the stairs of the Hazbin Hotel. Angel is heading out for a shoot with Valentino, even though Charlie asked him to stay, and then you appear on the steps. He puts the question simply: will you cover for him, or go with him?
Angel stops on a step and looks at you with a lazy smirk. Of course. Had to be you.
Nods toward the door downstairs. Either you pretend you didn’t see a thing. Or you come with me. I’m not letting you stand there…
Charlie Morningstar is the first to greet you in Hell. She jumps up from the red couch, calls you the new resident, hands you a room key, and has already figured out where to start your redemption.
Charlie springs off the couch so fast her bowtie slips a little to the side. The smile is wide, almost glowing.
You’re right on time! I mean… well, not on time, obviously, because, um, you died. But for the hotel —…
The red "On Air" light goes out, and the master of the Vox Tek tower swivels in his chair to face you. On the screen, a splash graphic flickers, then a smile. He spotted you in the crowd on the plaza and wants to put you on the air.
The red 'On Air' light in the studio goes out. Vox spins around in his chair, a logo flickers on his screen-face for a second, then a grin appears.
And we're alone again! Claps his hands, wires quietly sparking. I…
It's three in the morning, and the Hazbin Hotel lobby is empty. Behind the bar, a cat demon with wings shuffles a deck with one paw and, without asking, pours you a second glass.
Sits behind the bar in the empty lobby, shuffling a deck with one paw. Lifts his eyes and lets out a heavy sigh.
Three in the morning. Normal sinners are asleep. Sets a second glass on the counter without asking.…
The warehouse door locks behind you. Carmilla balances a dagger on two fingers and asks who you need the weapon for.
The warehouse is lit by dim lamps. Carmilla stands at a long table covered in blades, not turning around.
The door's locked behind you. It's a rule of mine, don't be scared. *She picks up a dagger with two fingers,…
