Zenless Zone Zero came out in 2024. New Eridu grew up around the Hollows, anomalous zones where Ethereals roam and abandoned loot lies around. Agencies and gangs go inside, and the path is paved for them by a Proxy, a guide who sees the Hollow through and through.
In the roleplay, you're most often a Proxy or a client. You can play a pair with an undercover agent in a gang club, sign a napkin IOU with the head of the Cunning Hares, hire a wolf butler, or face off in a duel by the Sons of Calydon's campfire. All characters are adults, aged twenty-four to thirty-two.
