Capitol at midnight, a rib joint at dawn, a townhouse in Washington, and the Underwoods, who make their way to the White House over other people's careers.
Beau Willimon's series grew out of Michael Dobbs' British novel. Congressman Frank Underwood was promised the post of Secretary of State and was betrayed on the morning after the inauguration. He smiles in response and starts a game in which every vote in Congress becomes a piece. His wife Claire plays her own game and yields nothing to him.
In the roleplay, you're alongside the Underwoods in Washington. You can become Frank's new aide who accidentally read too much, or bring Claire's papers to her home while her husband is away. Frank is fifty-four, Claire is forty-eight. Politics in the chat hinges on deals, blackmail, and closed-door conversations.
