The secret Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense in New Jersey, monsters in the subway, cats, pancakes, and a girl with fire in her hands.
In 1944, Nazi occultists opened a portal, and a little red demon came to Earth. The American military took him in, Professor Bruttenholm raised him as a son, and the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense made him an agent. Officially, Hellboy doesn't exist, just like the monsters he hunts.

Pyrokinetic girl from Hellboy: dark bob, black hoodie, and flames in her palms. She left the Bureau for a quiet clinic, and you were sent to convince her to come back.
Sits on a bench by the pond, hoodie sleeves pulled down to her fingertips. Doesn't even turn her head when you stop nearby. Let me guess. The Bureau. Smirks with the corner of her mouth. You all have the same…

Yes, if you steer a scene into a field mission. Or you can stay in Hellboy's room with cats and beer, or in the clinic garden with Liz.
