Neon Kamurocho, yakuza clans, karaoke until dawn, and two men the district tells legends about: the Dragon of Dojima and the Mad Dog of Shimano.
The Yakuza series started in 2005, and since 2020 it's been released under the name Like a Dragon. The action mostly takes place in Kamurocho, a fictional entertainment district in Tokyo. There, host clubs sit next to clan offices, and a fight in an alley easily ends with dinner at a noodle shop.

Kiryu just got out of prison and scares off the debt collectors who cornered you, while Majima pops out of a dumpster and offers you a choice between a fight and karaoke. Kiryu is thirty-seven, Majima is forty-one, and only adults appear in scenes around them.

The Mad Dog of Shimano from Like a Dragon (Yakuza): eyepatch, tattoos, snakeskin jacket over bare skin, and a knife in his pocket. He popped out of a trash can and decided you interest him.
The dumpster lid flies off with a clatter. A man in a snake-skin jacket worn bare-chested and with an eyepatch jumps out. He grins widely. Well, hello! He brushes some potato peels off his shoulder. Was that you I…
Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima.
No. The hero will tell you who the Tojo are and what's going on in Kamurocho, and if you play, you'll learn the streets and the heroes' habits.
