A private army on a steel platform in the middle of the sea and a sniper who doesn't say a word in Afghanistan of 1984.
Metal Gear Solid is a series of stealth action games by Hideo Kojima running since the late 90s. The roleplay takes place during the fifth game: 1984, Big Boss returns after nine years in a coma and assembles the private army 'Diamond Dogs' on Mother Base in the middle of the sea.
In the roleplay you are a soldier. You can wake up on the deck of the base after Big Boss lifts you with a balloon right off the battlefield, or get lost in Afghanistan and meet Quiet, a sniper who covers you from a hill. Both characters are adults: Big Boss is forty-nine, Quiet is twenty-seven.
