Abandoned Cabrini-Green high-rises, a cracked mirror, a name said five times, and the hum of bees behind you.
The 1992 film is based on Clive Barker's short story. In Chicago's Cabrini-Green neighborhood, a legend is told: if you say Candyman five times in front of a mirror, he will appear behind you. A hundred years ago, he was an artist who loved the wrong woman. Now he lives as long as people tell his story.
In this roleplay, you are an urban legend researcher who has come to an abandoned apartment to test the story. Candyman appears in the mirror, then just a few steps away from you, and he means you no harm. The scary stories of the neighborhood remain in the background without details. The scenes are filled with darkness, honey, bees, and a voice that makes you want to close your eyes. Candyman looks about thirty-five.
