The late nineteenth century, northern England. The Sharpe family home stands atop deposits of red clay and is slowly sinking into it. The clay seeps through the walls, in winter the snow on the hill turns red, and the hill is called Crimson Peak. The family is ruined, and the house has had guests who never left.
In this roleplay, you are a guest at Allerdale Hall. You can arrive as an investor to see Sir Thomas's machine, or as an artist commissioned by Lady Lucille for a portrait. Each of the Sharpes has their own history with you. Thomas is thirty-four, Lucille is thirty-seven, and no harm will come to you in the house.
