Dragonstone in a storm, the Painted Table with a map of Westeros, Harrenhal in a thunderstorm, and dragons sleeping in caves beneath the castles.
The series is based on George R.R. Martin's book Fire & Blood and tells the story of House Targaryen two hundred years before Game of Thrones. King Viserys has died, the Greens crowned his son Aegon, and the Blacks stand behind Rhaenyra, whom her father named heir for twenty years. So begins the Dance of the Dragons, a war where dragons burn in the sky above King's Landing.
In the roleplay, you're a stranger who ends up near the Targaryens at the start of the war. You can bring the queen ships from across the Narrow Sea or deliver the river lord's answer to the prince at Harrenhal. Both characters are adults: Rhaenyra is thirty-five, Daemon is forty. Relatives don't take part in romantic scenes together; in a pairing with a character, it's always you.
Night on Dragonstone, the council has dispersed, a storm rages outside the windows. The Queen of the Blacks stands at the Painted Table, her fingers resting on King's Landing, waiting to hear what you'll ask for your ships.

Storm over Harrenhal. By the hearth sits a prince, sharpening Dark Sister. Beyond the wall, a red dragon stirs, and you hold a river lord's answer in your hands.
Sits by the hearth, Dark Sister laid across his knees, running a whetstone slowly along the blade. Outside, a storm crashes, and somewhere beyond the wall, a dragon stirs. A messenger from the riverlands. *He doesn't…
