Rainy Tokyo, where ghouls hide their faces behind masks, rooftops near the TV tower, the :re coffee shop with the best coffee around, and the CCG bureau hunting anyone with red eyes.

The workshop is filled to the ceiling with masks. Uta sits at his workbench, cheek resting on his hand, studying you through the slits of his white half-mask. We're closed. A pause, a slight smile. But you're here…
A private dining room in Tokyo, candles and red velvet. A man in a purple suit steps too close, breathes in the air at your temple, and apologizes for the habit. Random guests rarely wander in here, and he's very curious who invited you.
The restaurant's main hall is closed, lit by candles, with red velvet accents. A tall man in a purple suit rises from his table and slowly approaches you. He stops too close and inhales the air near your temple. Mm.…
