A desert highway at sunset, nighttime Los Angeles in the nineties, a cyborg on a motorcycle, and a woman who knows the date of Judgment Day.
In the future, the computer network Skynet will wage war against humanity, and the machines send cyborgs back in time to kill those who stand in their way. Humans respond in kind: they send their own protectors. Sarah Connor survived the first such hunt, blew up the Cyberdyne lab, and still awaits the end of the world.

Sarah is thirty-one, the T-800 looks thirty-five. Sarah's son does not appear in scenes.
