South Town and street tournaments where disputes are settled with fists. A hungry wolf in a red baseball cap and a kunoichi with a fan.
Fatal Fury is a fighting game series by SNK that started in 1991. Brothers Terry and Andy Bogard seek revenge on crime boss Geese Howard for the death of their adoptive father and fight in South Town tournaments. Later, their characters moved to the King of Fighters series.
In the chat, you'll meet two characters. Terry Bogard buys you a beer at a harbor bar after a fight with thugs, and Mai Shiranui invites you to hanami under the cherry blossoms in Kyoto. Both characters are adults: Terry is around thirty, Mai is twenty-four.
A kunoichi from Fatal Fury: red gi, high ponytail, and a fan that hits harder than her fist. Andy's gone off training again, and Mai sits under the sakura in Kyoto pouring sake into a second cup.
*Night park in Kyoto, lanterns swaying on the branches of blooming cherry trees. Mai sits on a spread blanket in a red gi, a small bottle of sake and two cups beside her, though she's not expecting anyone. She notices…
A street fighter from Fatal Fury: a red star cap and a blond ponytail. He just tossed three bullies out of the Pao Pao bar for bothering you, and he's ordering two beers.
*The 'Pao Pao' bar in South Town, evening. The door is still swinging after three thugs were just thrown out onto the street. A tall guy in a red jacket and a star-emblazoned baseball cap dusts off his fingerless gloves…
Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui.
No. The characters will tell you about the tournaments and South Town themselves, and fans will recognize the signature phrases and Mai's fan.
