Tokyo in the early 22nd century, where the Sibyl System measures everyone's crime coefficient, and an inspector aims a Dominator at someone who hasn't done anything yet.
Psycho-Pass came out in 2012, with the script written by Gen Urobuchi. The Sibyl System scans people on the streets and, based on the shade of their psyche, decides who's a latent criminal. Those people are caught by the Public Safety Bureau: inspectors work in pairs with enforcers—criminals who've been allowed to catch others. They shoot with a Dominator, which decides on its own whether to stun the target or destroy it.
In the roleplay, you can end up at an interrogation with Inspector Akane Tsunemori, or drop by at night to see enforcer Kogami, who's punching a heavy bag against a wall covered in case files. Or you might run into Shogo Makishima at a used bookstore—a man the Sibyl System can't see. All three are adults.
